ABOUT THE SPEAKER:


Steven Stein is a psychologist and CEO of MHS, the largest Canadian test publishing company. He has a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Ottawa. He has previously held the position of director of research at Thistletown Regional Centre, a treatment centre for youth, and was an assistant professor in the department of psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Stein taught in the psychology department at York University for ten years. He has consulted for American Express, Coca-Cola, CIBC, the U.S. Air Force, the Pentagon, the Canadian Forces and many other public and government agencies. He has appeared on numerous TV shows such as Canada AM, Breakfast TV, Fifth Estate, CBC Newsworld and various radio shows. He has also been featured in print media including the Globe and Mail, National Post and Toronto Star. Stein has shared information on emotional intelligence with audiences throughout Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Europe, Australia, Africa and the Orient.
