ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Ann Wyganowski’s consulting background features over 20 years of managing large projects and systems implementations across various industries including banking, education, research and development, manufacturing, property development and management, publishing, human resources, not-for-profit and telecommunications. Her global BCP experience with people, cultures, environments and risks spans numerous countries across Europe and Asia as well as Canada, the U.S., Australia, Mexico and Brazil.
Wyganowski is the president of the Toronto Disaster Recovery Information Exchange. Her customers for BCP and pandemic planning span various levels of government, government agencies, business and industry. Her company, HZX Business Continuity Planning, is Nortel's solutions delivery provider for BCP services to their customers.
Wyganowski’s focus on business continuity began in the 1990s when she developed disaster recovery and business continuity methodologies and managed Nortel’s Global Finance Y2K and BCP programs through the century rollover. Following that, she spent time at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where she developed global business continuity plans for their managed services teams before returning to Nortel to revitalize their Global Business continuity program.
She is a certified business continuity professional (CBCP), an internationally recognized designation of DRI International.
